    To get a Poland work visa from Pakistan in 2023, you will need to follow these steps:

    Find a job in Poland 

    Your employer will need to apply for a work permit on your behalf.

    Where to apply?

    Once you have a work permit, You can apply at the consular office, Street 24, G-5/4, Diplomatic Enclave II, Islamabad.Wednesdays and Thursdays 10.00 AM - 1.00 PM.

    How to book an appointment?

    You can fill out the visa application form via the e-konsulat system.

    If you are interested in obtaining a national visa to work, please schedule appointments only through the e-consulate system. Please do not contact the consulate by email.

    If you want to apply for a national visa for other purposes (not work), contact the Consular Section of the Embassy via e-mail (by email: islamabad.consulate@msz.gov.pl) for information on how to proceed with this type of application.

    In order to book an appointment to apply for a national work visa, please:
    1. Enter the e-konsulat website
    2. Select Pakistan, Islamabad and then in the MENU tab select "National visa - Register form" and then select "National visa - Work".
    3. Fill in the preliminary visa application form containing your basic data and the data of the document that entitles you to work in Poland. If the entered data is correct, you will receive an email with a link to complete the full visa application. You have 48 hours to complete the full application. Fill in the application, save it and print it. If the data is not verified correctly or the full application is not completed within 48 hours, the registration will be cancelled;
    4. In case there are more applicants than available places, appointments will be allocated through an electronic lottery. After the draw, you will be informed of the results and:
    • if your application was drawn, you will receive information about the appointment time,

    • if your application was not selected in a given pool of available visits, it will be moved to another draw. 
    Consular officers cannot interfere with the process of drawing of applications which will be allocated a date of visit.

    All information, confirmations and links to complete applications are sent automatically by e-mail to the e-mail address provided by you,

    On the appointed/set date, you must come to the consular office with a printed and signed visa form, the original work permit and a set of necessary documents. 

    To book an appointment to apply for a visa for a purpose other than work in the type of service select "National visa - other" or other service appropriate to your case, select the appointment date, fill out the visa application, save it and print it.

     

    Please be informed, that the e-Consulate system www.e-konsulat.gov.pl, owned by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, is the only official online registration system for Polish consulates worldwide. 

    Please do not use any other websites, which are claiming to offer visa appointments for the Embassy of Poland in Islamabad.

    All persons planning to apply for visa are strongly advised to be extremely cautious in all dealings with companies that claim to offer assistance in obtaining visa, and that charge money for preparing documents for visa procedure.

     

    NOTE - When registering, provide complete and authentic data contained in the submitted documents. The data entered in the application must be consistent with the data contained in the documents in your possession (including spelling).

    What documents do I need to submit?

    You will need to submit the following documents:
    • A visa application form filled via the e-konsulat system, printed and signed;
    • A 3.5 x 4.5 cm colour photo. The photo must be:
      • sharp, taken against white background and printed on a quality paper,
      • newer than 6 months,
      • taken en face, clearly showing the eyes and face on both sides from the top of the head to the top of the shoulders with the face covering 70-80% of the photo. The photo must be taken without any headwear.
    • Passport issued within last ten years, valid for at least three months from the expected return date, with at least two blank pages for visas, as well as all previous passports.
    • A copy of the passport page with personal data and the photo. 
    • Healthcare insurance valid across the European Union for the amount not lower than  EUR 30,000
    • A copy of an ID document to confirm legal residence within the consular district of your application.
    • Proof that you have enough means of subsistence in the form decided by the mission.
    • A proof of accommodation (for example, an official invitation or a hotel booking or reservation).
    • Documents confirming the purpose of your stay Poland.

    How much does it cost? 

    The cost of a work permit visa in Poland can vary depending on the applicant’s situation and nationality. The processing time for a work permit visa can range from 2 - 8 weeks, while the fee for a single-entry visa is usually:
    • Visa application costs 24 752 PKR.
    • The visa application fee is non-returnable, whatever the consul's decision.

    What is the waiting time?

    The decision on the issue of a visa is made within 15 working days from the payment date of application fee. If the documents need to be examined in more detail, the consideration period may be extended to 45 days.

    How to collect the documents?

    Personally by an applicant or an authorized person (an authorized person should provide his/her an original ID card (CNIC), the authorization letter and visa receipt).

    Collections: business days between 1:00PM and 3:00PM

    How to appeal?

    If you do not agree with the consul's decision, you may ask to have your visa application re-considered. You must apply for the reconsideration in the office that issued the decision within 14 days of its delivery.

    No prior appointment is required. Appeals can be submitted on work days between 11:00AM and 3:00PM.

    Appeals must be submitted personally or by authorized person (an authorized person should provide the copy of your passport, his/her an original ID card (CNIC), the authorization letter and required documents). 
    Required documents: passport – must be valid; appeal – signed by applicant; refusal of visa and other documents which in your opinion might be important.

    Appeals sent via email or post will not be considered.
    • Appeal processing fee is 24 752 PKR.
    • Processing time is 14 calendar days.
